I heard this morning some sad tart on the radio was queuing since 4am to ensure she got tickets for Westlife. She bemoaned the cold and quite frankly she deserved to die of hyothermia for supporting this unremitting dross.

I am no longer a citizen of the UK, but if I was I would be worried. In the ever present threat of crime and terrorism it does not bode well when an inspector of police is bested by a few of our bovine friends.

Formal neutral country Ireland formally opened up hostilties against itself according to the news this morning.

It is reported they mobilised their Defence Minister who on a peace keeping mission to Limerick wantonly attacked the Coalition forces defending Shannon.

At the UN a special commitee was set up to discuss this act of aggression, and it was agreed that sanctions be imposed. The Secretary General aid that "it will now be illegal for any member state to sell Willy O'Dea more than three pints of Guiness and woe betide anyone who is caught selling him whiskey"

Although Limerick has been in need of a peacekeeping force for years, direct UN Intervention will not take place.

For years I have always viewed nuns as a bit scary, mainly a bit intimidating because of their dress. manner and probably the stories my mum told me about Notre Dame in Glasgow. I used to playfully indulge in a spot of nun spotting and once when I shouted c*** at a bad driver and then saw it was a nun , felt suitably ashamed.  But I never quite imagined they were as mental as this:

However a spokesman for the ASS24FS (association of twenty four hour filling stations) was quoted

"Our members strongly oppose such products, it would see a huge decline in the sale in Snack and Chocolate products not to mention Rizla King Size Rolling papers, meaning a decrease in profits for our members, more importantly  the supply of products to stoners at weird times of the night is our raison d'etre "

Many hippies are boycottting the product because the chocolate is not fair trade, and are promoting organic hippie markets where you can buy home baked products at at a fraction of the cost.

Another Trip to Brussels and I can safely say that it was as bad as the last umpteen times I have been there. My problem(s) with Belgium arise from the fact that I strongly belive it is dull, uninspiring and it's people are odd. I was having a smoke outside the office watching the people go by and without a word of a lie all men over thirty look like the cast of the Tin Tin Cartoons...very surreal moment. 

You see, Belgium is not even a real country, It has no common language and no culture. In my opinion they should carve it up and give it to the neighbouring countries..or even funnier give to the people of the Congo as Belgium truly fucked up that part of Africa. 

In Short Belgium is famous for:
Chocolate
Paedophiles
Fries with Mayo
Strong Beer (invented to make Belgians forget they are Belgian)

Not a good combination any way you look at it.

Perhaps a bit harsh, but it seemed that Limerick was the place to be if you wanted a taste of Beirut without the sun. Then out of the blue Drogheda starting stabbing people left right and centre and ,being closer to Dublin, Drogheda seemed to have an equal opportunities slant to their violence . Yes, you can be assured that if you go to Drogheda it will not matter if your a local or not, you too can expect to be knifed, clubbed, shagged or beaten to death.

I may start a quick analysis for the next month or so.......

Smart Cars have launched their cars in the U.S. For those of you who havn't seen one they are tiny,stylish cars designed for an urban market with great fuel economy and the ability to park in the smallest of spaces (they are also overpriced in my opinion) The point really is, was their marketing department taking drugs when they thought of broaching the US market..

Basically a nation of fat fucks are not going to like a car that
1) They could not fit in even with heavy lubrication (them not the car)
2) Is the size of the petrol tank of an American Car
3) Does not consume the petrol produced by a small Arab nation

 Ally's Army...... I am reverting myself back to my nine year old self, when I and half of my home nation believed we could win the World Cup. I can look back and laugh now, but at the time Scotland actually thought they could win it.

As you may know they suffered a defeat by Peru, and drew with Iran....and then followed years of tumbleweed blowing across Hampden Park as successive Scots football teams failed to deliver.

Now, we still have a fairly uninspiring side..but the fact that we beat France and for at least four weeks we will hold the top spot in the group is enough for me...What Scotland lacks in skill it makes up for in effort and passion.

Freecycle...best idea in the world , a way to get rid of your unused stufff and know you are not contributing to landfill. I first used Freecycle when I lived in the UK, and was impressed at the way in which it operates. When I moved to Ireland I signed up straightaway and again used it happily for a number of months... Recently it seems to have changed there seems to be a huge number of posts in the Wanted section for unreasonably high value stuff..

Examples include Wanted: Playstation 2, Sat Nav, Computers......Jesus ..I would quite like the latest electronic gear but I generally have to save up and go to my local retailer, NOT BEG ON FREECYCLE...

To all you grasping bastards.....Feck off, get a job and buy stuff like the rest of us.
